PE Compression Male Threaded Elbow

PE Compression Male Threaded Elbow combines a directional turn with a male-threaded connection point for situations where a PE pipe needs to change direction and connect to a female-threaded fixture in one step. The compression side of the fitting works the same way as the rest of the PE quick connect range, while the threaded side is designed to screw into the mating component.
This fitting is chosen specifically where the fixture being connected — such as certain valves or equipment inlets — presents a female thread, complementing the female threaded elbow described earlier and giving installers the option to match either thread orientation as needed.

Application Scenarios & Installation

This fitting is used in similar situations to the female threaded elbow — turning a corner and connecting to a threaded fixture — but for components that require a male thread from the fitting. It is common in agricultural and irrigation piping where equipment connections vary in thread orientation from point to point.
As with other compression fittings, installation involves cutting the pipe end square, fully inserting it into the compression side, and tightening the nut, followed by connecting the threaded side to its mating component with appropriate sealant and reasonable torque.
