PE Compression Reducing Tee

PE Compression Reducing Tee branches a PE pipe run in the same way as the standard equal tee, but with the branch outlet (and sometimes the continuing run) sized smaller than the main line, using the same tool-free compression joints throughout. This fitting supports a trunk-and-branch pipeline design, where a larger main line gradually steps down in diameter as it serves smaller sections of a distribution network.
Because each port is sized to match its specific connecting pipe, the compression nuts, grab rings, and seals differ across the fitting's ports, allowing the tee to reliably join pipes of different diameters at a single junction.

Application Scenarios & Installation

This fitting is used at branch points in irrigation, agricultural, and rural water systems where a main line needs to tap off a smaller-diameter branch — for example, a large-diameter field main splitting into smaller drip or sprinkler zone lines. It allows the overall network to be sized efficiently, with larger pipe only where higher flow volumes are actually needed.
Installation follows the same general compression-fitting steps as other tees, with attention paid to matching each pipe end to its correctly sized port. Because reducing tees sit at both a branch point and a size transition, ensuring each connection is properly seated and tightened is particularly important for long-term reliability.
