PPH Universal Union Fitting

PPH Universal Union Fitting is a three-part union designed to let a section of PPH piping, valve, or piece of equipment be disconnected and reconnected without cutting into the pipe. As with union fittings in other plastic piping materials, it consists of two end pieces that connect to the pipe or equipment on either side, plus a threaded collar that draws the two halves together and compresses a seal between them.
The "universal" naming generally reflects that this type of union is intended to work across a range of common connection styles within a PPH system, making it a general-purpose disconnect point rather than a fitting designed for one specific configuration. Because chemical process piping often needs to be taken apart periodically for cleaning, inspection, or equipment replacement, this type of union is a frequently used component in PPH installations.
