PPR Brass Insert Male Threaded Tee

PPR Brass Insert Male Threaded Tee follows the same branching concept as the female-threaded version, but with a male thread on the branch outlet instead of a female one. The two main-run ports remain standard PPR fusion sockets, while the perpendicular branch carries a brass male thread molded into the fitting body, intended for connection to a female-threaded component.
This fitting is used specifically where the equipment or accessory being connected at the branch point expects to receive a male thread rather than provide one — for example, some types of gauges or valves are supplied with a female inlet. Having both male and female threaded tee options available means installers do not need to introduce an additional thread-converting adapter at the branch point.

Application Scenarios & Installation

This fitting is used in similar situations to the female-threaded tee, adding a monitoring point, small valve, or secondary connection along a main pipe run — but for components that require a male thread from the fitting side. It is common in industrial and commercial piping where instrumentation or small accessory valves are tapped into a main distribution line at intervals.
As with the female-threaded tee, the main run is fused to the pipe first, with the branch oriented toward its intended connection point. Installers should use appropriate thread sealant on the branch connection and avoid applying excessive torque, since the branch is a smaller, more concentrated stress point on the fitting compared with the main run.
